Second Food security project
Funding has been recieved and sent for a second food security project.
Jump4Timbuktu recently sent out funding to Timbuktu for a second food security project. This is great news, and after a feasibility study has been completed then work can begin. The food and water security projects that we support in Timbuktu are extremely important to supporting the Tuareg people's way of life and culture.
The money has been raised by applying to grant bodies like the Kitchen Table Charity Trust, as well as through the sale of the ethical jewellery that the Tuareg artisans of Timbuktu make. It's great to see these sustainable development projects being launched, and they wouldn't be possible with out the continued support that we recieve.
